If ever there was a moment of total transformation, it was the moment of your birth. In that instant, you stepped through a door in time into a new reality -- the reality of human life. The most important number in your numerology chart is based on the date of your birth, the moment when the curtain goes up in your life.

Even at that moment, you were a person with your own unique character, as unique as your DNA. Everything that is you existed in potential, much like a play that is about to begin. Your entire life exists as a potential that has been prepared for. Barack, you have ultimate freedom to do with your life as you like: To fulfill its potential completely, or to make some smaller version of yourself. It all depends upon your effort and commitment. You make the decisions to fulfill, to whatever extent, the potential life that exists within you. That is your choice. In this sense, the possible you is implicit during the moment of your birth.

The Life Path number gives us a broad outline of the opportunities, challenges, and lessons we will encounter in this lifetime. Your Life path is the road you are traveling.  It reveals the opportunities and challenges you will face in life. Your Life Path number is the single most important information available in your Personality

Your Life Path is 20/2

The key word in your nature is peacemaker. Barack, you have the soul of an artist. You are extremely sensitive, perceptive, and a bit shy. These qualities are both your strengths and weaknesses, for while you possess enormous sensitivity to your feelings and those of others, that same sensitivity can cause you to hold back and repress your considerable talents. Sensitivity and perceptiveness are among your many fine qualities     Because you intuitively know what people want, or feel, you can be extremely diplomatic and tactful. You are also patient and cooperative. You work well with groups and somehow find a way of creating harmony among diverse opinions.

You enjoy music and poetry and require a harmonious environment.

You have an eye for beauty and a fine sense of balance and rhythm. You have healing capabilities, especially in such fields as massage, acupuncture, physical therapy, and counseling.

However, your sensitivity can also be your downfall. Barack, your extremely delicate ego bruises easily and can make too much of someone else's thoughtless remarks or criticisms. Because you get hurt easily, you may tend to withhold your own thoughts and contributions to the matter at hand. This can cause you considerable resentment and anger.

Too often, you run from confrontation to avoid a battle.

When you employ your considerable inner strength, you will discover your enormous power and abilities to direct difficult situations toward your own goals. It is the awareness of your inner strength that will give you the courage to use your own personal power when it is needed. You are a sensitive and passionate lover; your perceptiveness makes you aware of your partner's needs and desires, which you are able to fulfill with almost magical delicacy.

However, when you feel you have been mistreated or jilted, you can react with devastating power, sometimes using personal criticisms vindictively. Your awareness, diplomatic skills, and organizational talents give you the ability to bring off difficult tasks. You willingly step out of the limelight to facilitate the success of your endeavor. In truth, you are often the power behind the throne.  However, you do not always receive the credit you deserve for the fine work you've done, or your role is underestimated and your accomplishments overlooked. Rather than brood over your losses, you need to confront those who would make less of your contributions and stand up for your accomplishments.  You need security and comfort, quiet settings, and the company of loved ones.  You are a perfectionist when it comes to your home and work environment.  Barack, you have excellent taste which is obvious in your private surroundings.

You are a fine companion and possess a good sense of humor. Friends seek you out for your calming and peaceful company. You are a safe haven to other sensitive people, who recognize your compassion and understanding. When you have found your niche in life, you have all the talents and intelligence for great success. Seek out work that allows your sensitive nature to flourish -- be the glue that binds others together.

The day you were born bears great significance in understanding who you are and where your talents lie.  The day of birth indicates some special talent you possess.  It is a gift to you that will help you along your Life's Path.  Your day of birth is one of your four core numbers -- the Life Path, Expression, and Heart’s Desire being the other three.  It is the least significant of the four core numbers, but perhaps the most finite, in that it reveals a specific ability you possess in a marked degree.

Your Birthday is 4

You are a hard worker and a conscientious person.  You are precise and take great care in what you do.  You are highly-principled, disciplined, and responsible. Barack, you take your obligations very seriously.  You are highly ethical.

You can be proud and upright, but, conversely, you are not particularly arrogant.  You have compassion for people.  You tend to persevere in the face of an obstacle or personality problem.

Barack, you love your family and make a wonderful mate.  Yet, you are not overly emotional, nor very demonstrative of your love.  You tend to understate your affections.

You are constantly focused on the foundations of your life -- whether it is in business, career, or family matters, you take care of the basics.  You are highly rational.  You are not one for pie-in-the-sky solutions to problems.  Nor are you given to get-rich-quick schemes.  Yours is the slow, patient approach, sound and secure.

You also like to be in nature.

You are a natural organizer and manager.  People -- especially relatives and co-workers -- tend to rely on you.  Barack, you are perceived as the rock of any endeavor.

You can be stubborn and rigid.  Your nature is to dig in and wait.  This can close you off from solutions or creative ideas.  You must work at being more flexible.

You often experience frustrations and repression.  You are not an emotional person, and perhaps you don't fully understand the emotional realm.  This is the reason you can be rather tactless at times.

Be careful to avoid excess work and missing out at smelling the roses of life.

Your Expression number reveals your physical and mental constitution, the orientation or goal of your life.  Some numerologists refer to this number as the Destiny, because it represents a lifelong target at which you are aiming.  You work at fulfilling this potential every day of your life.  Thus, the Expression number reveals your inner goal, the person you aim to be.

The Expression number reveals the talents, abilities, and shortcomings that were with you when you entered your human body.  Your name, and the numbers derived from it, reveals your development, as well as the talents and issues you will be working with during this life.

For those for whom reincarnation is an accepted philosophy, the vibration of your full name can be seen as the totality of your personal evolution, the experiences, talents, and wisdom accumulated over many life times.  Every experience, no matter how great or small, along this evolutionary path has influenced your development, and brought you to your current state of being.

The Expression is your being; the Life Path is the major lesson you are attempting to learn this time around.  Time allows the gradual emergence of your personality.  By reading the Expression number below, you will come to understand your basic nature and the abilities and issues inherent in your being.

Your Expression is 19/1

You are a natural leader, independent and individualistic.  Barack, you are extremely ambitious, original, and courageous.  You employ new and unproven methods.  You are an explorer and an innovator.  Openness to too many peripheral influences limits and frustrates you.  You are self-reliant, confident, and energetic.

You possess executive abilities and are most successful at owning or independently managing a business.  You need the freedom to make your own decisions, based on your own ideas.  You can be an astute politician.  You also possess the ability to influence the opinions of your milieu.

The number 1 symbolizes the front-runner, pioneer, warrior, risk-taker, and daredevil.  Generals, top politicia s, successful businessmen, self-made millionaires, religious leaders, inventors, activists, and avant-garde artists are often born with a 1 Expression.

Strength and perseverance are central to your success.  You must be willing to travel the frontiers of life, away from the beaten path.  You possess a great reserve of willpower that must be directed at your goals.  You do not give up, but relentlessly pursue your aims.

Barack, you are quite opinionated.  People tend to be inspired or repelled by your strong personality.

You have great powers of concentration and the ability to visualize your goals, thus making them more attainable.

You stand up for your convictions and hold your ground.  All of these abilities enhance your chances of success in life.

There is a tendency to be self-centered.  You can be domineering and, in the extreme, a bully.  You can be highly critical of others, complaining that people lack the industry or determination you possess.  But this lack of understanding can alienate friends and family members from you.  You must learn to control this tendency to maintain harmony in relationships.

Once you are convinced of the inherent correctness of your ideas, you stubbornly -- and sometimes rigidly -- defend and propagate them.

Avoid obstinacy and antagonism.  You must cultivate balance, compassion, and perseverance.

You easily assume the role of protector.  You spring into action when leadership is needed.

Pride can be your downfall.  You so powerfully identify with your goals and ambitions that you sometimes refuse to see a potential flaw or weakness in your well-laid plans.

Barack, you possess strength and determination, which, when applied to any endeavor you are committed to, will lead you to great success in life.

The Minor Expression number is based on the current (or short) name; the name you now use to introduce yourself including your last name.

The influence of the short name is minor in comparison to your full name. Interestingly, the short name often compensates in some way for numbers (and their related characteristics) that are missing or out of balance in the full name.

For instance, a number missing in the full name may show up prominently in the short name; or a number (or numbers) that appears in excess in the full name can be compensated for in the short name.  If a name change takes place later in life through marriage or for professional reasons, it adds or subtracts certain qualities.  It can also focus and intensify existing characteristics or talents that may be latent.

Your Minor Expression is 14/5

Your short name adds considerable flexibility and versatility to your personality.  Barack, you now enjoy more travel and adventure.  You are more curious about people, new places, and seek out more excitement in life.

You are more dynamic and alive.  New and original ideas come quicker to you.  You are a good deal more creative.  Your verbal skills are increased and your ability as a salesperson or promoter enhanced.

You suffer more when confined by restricted spaces or rigid rules.  You yearn for greater freedom of movement and expression.  You are more likely to strike out on your own, with your own ideas or methods.

Your Heart's Desire is the inner you.  It shows your underlying urge, your true motivation.  It reveals the general intention behind many of your actions.  Consequently, it dramatically influences the choices you make in life.  The Heart's desire is seen as part of the larger picture, called the core numbers, which includes the Life Path, Expression, Day you were born, and Personality.  But each points to a different aspect of you.

The Expression number reveals your talents and abilities, and your general direction in life.  The Life Path is the central lesson you came into the world to learn.  The Day you were born is very closely connected to your Life Path.  It reveals specific talents you possess, which will be helpful to you in dealing with your Life Path.  The Personality reveals how people tend to see you.  It also demonstrates what characteristics you are projecting to the world.  The Heart's Desire demonstrates the identity of the soul that joined the earth -- you, the spiritual being.

Your Heart's Desire is 18/9

Barack, you want to be of service to the world.  Your deepest satisfaction comes from knowing that you have advanced the cause of humanity.

Your ideals are of the highest order.  You are a perfectionist.  You strive to make the world a utopia; to make each person's lot in life better; to become perfect yourself.  One of your challenges in life is to strive toward your lofty goals and at the same time recognize the good you are doing.

You like and are fascinated by people from all walks of life.  Human nature is a lifelong study for you.  You are highly intuitive, but not an especially good judge of character.  You are a bit naive, as well, thinking perhaps that all people have the same values as you.

You dream of having the resources to immediately relieve the suffering of others, whether it is economic, physical, or psychological.

You are gifted with a good mind and a great deal of wisdom, which makes you a natural teacher, counselor, or healer.

As much as you desire to be of service to others, you also crave fame and the approval of the masses.  Much of the energy you expend in life is directed toward putting yourself before an audience, most often as a salesperson whose product provides some social good; as a philanthropist; or an artist.

Barack, you are attracted to the arts as a vocation, especially as an actor, photographer, or writer.  But whatever your profession, any involvement in the arts, even as a hobby, will provide you with a deep and lasting satisfaction.

Secretly, you dream of having a big impact on the world.  Others may see this as egotism, especially when you are still young.  But your concern for others is genuine.  You must apply yourself in this direction in order to become psychologically whole and personally satisfied.

Your vision is on the crowds of people, which can cause you to overlook the needs of those closest to you.  You need personal love as well, but have a tendency to put your needs in the background.  Still, you are a loving person, and only need to be reminded to direct and demonstrate that love to those nearby.  If, however, you are focused exclusively on the masses, people will perceive you as distant and a bit aloof.

You are emotional, and sensitive.  You can also be moody and critical.  You have high expectations for yourself and others.  This can cause you much anger when your expectations are unfulfilled.  One of your most important life lessons is to forgive.

Because you are striving hard to attain high ideals, you may think of yourself as superior to others.  Arrogance is a trap many 9s fall into.  The danger is that arrogance cuts you off from the thing you love the most: people.

Barack, your happiness and contentment are therefore highly dependent on the ease with which you are able to serve and influence mankind.

It is the paradox of your Heart's Desire that you receive by giving.  Both your material success and spiritual satisfaction are made possible through service and sacrifice to others.

The Minor Heart's Desire number is derived from the vowels of your current name; the name you now use to introduce yourself.  The current name is a refinement of the more complex qualities of your longer name (the full name at birth).  It sharpens and bundles the energies that are reflected by your full name.  It intensifies certain aspects of your being , and de-emphasizes others.  For this reason, the short name often provides insight into what you truly want in life.  It also often reveals the extent of your understanding of what you want from this life.   It reveals both your strong desires, and the limits you place upon your potential.

Your feelings about your current name are different from your full name.  It affects how you feel about yourself; it changes your identity slightly.

Your Minor Heart's Desire is 10/1

With a 1 Minor Heart 's Desire, you draw from yourself more strength and determination.  Barack, you try to be more original, innovative, and independent.  You value courage and the will to meet adversity head on.

You are more willing to lead, and less willing to follow.  You are less easily influenced and intimidated.  You are willing to stand alone and are better able to fight for what you think is right.

Your Personality number is derived from the consonants of your full name at birth.  Your Personality is like a narrow entrance hall to the great room that is your true nature.  It is those aspects that you feel comfortable sharing with people at the outset of a relationship.  With time and trust, you invite others into the deeper aspects of your nature; you reveal more of who you really are, in effect, your Heart's Desire, Expression, and so on.

Your Personality number often serves as a censoring device, both in terms of what you send out, as well as what you allow to approach.  It discriminates in the kinds of people and information you let enter your heart and mind.  For this reason, your Personality is usually much more narrow and protective in its definition than the real you.  It can screen out some of what you do not want to deal with -- people or situations -- but it also welcomes those things that immediately relate to your inner nature.

Your Personality number also indicates how others perceive you.  No one can be objective about himself or herself.  Even our closest friends and relatives have trouble describing how they see us.

Your Personality is 19/1

Barack, you radiate with a dynamic and efficient energy.  You appear controlled and capable.  You value courage and effort in the face of difficulties and these qualities show.  Others can sense that you will not be pushed around.

You should dress in a dignified and correct manner, caring for the details of your appearance.  While you may spend most of your time in staid business dress or suits, bright and cheerful colors work well for you.  You are fashionable, but have your own style.

Your appearance suffers more than most people when you are overweight.  Overweight directly contradicts the type of personality you are trying to project.  Straight lines and square corners accent your good physique and enhance your appearance as a leader.

Barack, you are recognized as a pioneer; you have your own ideas of how to do things.  You are a risk-taker, original and highly creative.

You should be wary of appearing too aggressive or unreceptive.  You can intimidate people if you don't soften your exterior somewhat.  By doing this, you will attract less confident people who will be more willing to approach you with their thoughts and suggestions.

Your Maturity number indicates an underlying wish or desire that gradually surfaces around age thirty to thirty-five.  This underlying goal begins to emerge as you gain a better understanding of yourself.  With self-knowledge comes a greater awareness of who you are, what your true goals in life are, and what direction you want to set for your life.  This, in a nutshell, is the gift of maturity:  You no longer waste time and energy on things that are not within your own special identity.

No matter what your age is at present, your life is being channeled in a specific direction, toward a very specific goal.  That goal can be seen as a reward or the fulfillment of a promise that is implicit in your current efforts, often without your knowing it consciously.  While the characteristics of this number are usually visible during childhood, we tend to lose sight of these aspects until later in life.  But our lives are always being affected by this influence, nonetheless.

Your Maturity number begins to have a more profound impact on your life after the age of 35.  The influence of the number increases steadily as you grow older.

Your Maturity is 3

As you mature, Barack, you will find yourself becoming increasingly extroverted and optimistic about your future.  Your self-expression and creativity improve markedly.  You may become inspired to take up some type of artistic endeavor, such as writing, acting, or music, if you are not already involved in one of these areas.

Your ability to communicate will substantially improve.  You are naturally more fluent and may find yourself dressing with a certain flair.  Be careful not to fall victim to superficial appearances, or chasing after glamour and extravagance.

With a 3 Maturity Number you can look forward to a pleasant and social latter part of life.  Your attitude will be increasingly positive and your popularity will rise.

If you already have several 3s in your chart, especially in your core numbers, you may have a tendency to scatter your energies and take your responsibilities less seriously.  If you have few 3s, or are missing 3s entirely, you will experience a great relief from the tension and seriousness of life.  You will be more relaxed and capable of enjoying life.

The 3 Maturity Number is a blessing in the latter part of life.  It promises enjoyment, close friendships, and much happiness.

People experience different internal responses to life's challenges.  Some withdraw from difficult situations to think them through; others withdraw from their emotions, to try and keep themselves from feeling anything.  Some explode with emotions, but allow the explosion to pass quickly.  Others linger with their feelings, holding on to them well past the time they should have let them go.

Very often, these are conditioned or emotional responses that emerge without thought or analysis.  Maturity and self-development help us to learn new and more effective methods of handling our world and the problems we confront.  Your Balance number provides you with the guidance on how best to deal with difficult or threatening situations.

Your Balance is 7

You retreat into some safe haven within yourself, Barack, and hope you will not have to deal with the issue at hand.  Yet, the clarity and analytical abilities of your mind are sufficient to provide you with insight into the problem, and a clear path to its solution.

Barack, you have to work at confronting yourself and the issues you face unemotionally and calmly.  You can be engulfed in the emotional aspects of the issue, which clouds your mind and prevents you from using your clarity to find an answer.  Get past the emotion and you will find an answer.

Each of us is born with both strengths and weaknesses.  Numerology looks at life as if it were an educational process that is meant to bring out and enhance our talents, and turn our weaknesses into strengths.  This serves to complete our being.

The job of becoming whole is one in which we must face our weaknesses and consciously work to improve ourselves.  There are four Challenges to be faced during our lives.  For many of us, the same challenge is repeated, while others have four distinctly different lessons to learn.

The Challenges on your life's path provide specific lessons that you must attend to, and, in order to inspire and help you, life will place you in situations that require the specific characteristics of your Challenge numbers.

The four Challenges you are required to overcome during the course of this lifetime will influence you during different periods of your life, except for the Third or Main Challenge, which lasts from birth until death.  The Challenges are fluid periods of your life, not confined to specific years so much as general periods.  All of your Challenges are present at birth, like actors standing in the wings.

The duration of the First Challenge usually lasts from birth until approximately the age of 30 to 35.

Your First Challenge is 4

You tend to be disorderly and disorganized.  Barack, you are impractical and tend to fantasize about projects or possibilities that have little value or future.

You must learn to discriminate between iron balloons and those that will fly.

You have difficulty finishing projects because your vision becomes chaotic and loses tract of the path ahead.

You have to learn to be aware of the details.  Keep your environment clean and orderly.  Be efficient.

You have the ability to be practical and organized but you must learn their value.  This will cause you to incorporate them into your daily life and give you the basis for success.

This is the challenge of building a lasting foundation for your life.  Barack, you will need perseverance and repeated effort.  Get-rich-quick schemes will likely backfire; persistent effort is the key to your future happiness.

The Second Challenge usually lasts until the age of about 35 to 40.

Your Second Challenge is 4

(This Challenge is the same as the First, as described above.)

This Challenge carries much weight and will be felt throughout your life.  For that reason, it is also called the Main Challenge.

As you master this challenge, your life will come more and more under your own control.  You will incorporate the positive aspects of the challenge into your character.  This is its purpose in the first place.  Therefore, there is implicit in the challenge a chance for great reward.

In short, this may be the secret to your success.

Your Third Challenge is 0

This is a less demanding challenge.  Growth is allowed to take place without one particularly serious obstacle.  This does not mean that there will not be challenges on your path, but there is no single and consistent challenge during this period.

Barack, you are being challenged to stay faithful and focused on your highest ideals.

There is an opportunity to go deeper within yourself, and discover the inner being that is you.

The Fourth Challenge is most strongly felt during the latter part of our lives, beginning at the age of approximately 45.

Your Fourth Challenge is 0

(This Challenge is the same as the Third, as described above.)

The Pinnacles are four long-term cycles, or periods, on our Life Path.  Each Pinnacle represents a particular lesson we are working on.  The first Pinnacle usually lasts from birth to between the ages of 30 and 35 (your specific Pinnacle periods are provided below).  The middle two Pinnacles each last nine years.  The last Pinnacle will stay with you for the remainder of your life.

The Pinnacles are very important.  The transition from one Pinnacle to the next is always strongly felt.  Your Pinnacles reveal the general conditions and events you will experience during the period.  The Pinnacle describes the atmosphere, or the essential challenge you will be faced with.

You can prepare yourself for the times ahead by knowing your approaching

Pinnacle number.

The transition from one Pinnacle to the next is usually prepared for approximately 2 years in advance.  The latter part of that two year period is particularly strong.  Barack, you will likely make some life-altering decisions -- marriage, job or career change, or any number of major changes in your character.

Perhaps the most strongly felt change -- internally as well as externally -- is the transition from the first to the second Pinnacle.  This change usually takes place in your late 20s or early 30s -- the exact date depends on your Life Path number and is provided below.  You begin to feel the impact of this coming change approximately two years prior.  This is usually a difficult transition, but once crossed usually provides a clear sense of direction in one's life.  It also gives you a much firmer sense of your identity.  It is a gateway to maturity.

Your First Pinnacle (from birth until age 34) is 3

This is a highly creative period.  Barack, your self-expression is greatly enhanced.  Your creative and artistic talents will peak.  You should do everything possible to refine these abilities and make the most of them.  Many under the 3 Pinnacle are drawn to writing, the theater, singing, and dance.  Your chances of success are also heightened.  Hard work in any artistic field that one has a talent for can result in much reward.

This is also a highly social and emotional time.  You attract friends and admirers with your charm and gregarious nature.

You have the ability to inspire and motivate people.  Your upbeat energy causes people to want to work with and for you.

This is a lucky period, as well.  You can overcome problems with considerably less effort than in the past.

All of this can lead to self-indulgence and lack of productivity.  Life is a little easier, which can make you less vigilant.  You need focus and discipline.  Under the influence of this Pinnacle, hard work is the key and the challenge to making the most of your opportunities.

Be careful of impulsive behavior or doing things on a lark.  You must know your limits during this period.  Be careful of your money; balance your accounts.  Guard against disorderly thinking and behavior.  Otherwise, you may do things you regret or simply squander away so many opportunities.

Children born under this Pinnacle must be disciplined and kept from being spoiled.  An early education in the arts will inspire the child to make the most of his or her artistic talents.

Your Second Pinnacle (from age 35 until age 43) is 3

(This Pinnacle is the same as the First, as described above.)

Your Third Pinnacle (from age 44 until age 52) is 6

Under this Pinnacle you will be very involved with family, friends, and your community.  Barack, you will face an increase in responsibilities and duties, but you have a greatly enhanced sense of balance and perspective that allows you to handle emotional issues well.

Your family demands much of your attention.  Matters involving spouse and children require much security, love, and sacrifice.  You are the centerpiece of your family, the one people come to for solace and understanding.  You may feel an increased burden, as you carry the cares of many.  You will experience a deep sense of being needed.

This Pinnacle is full of love, closeness, and warmth, but you must rise to the challenges that close relationships bring.  Barack, you must settle and bring harmony to personal conflicts between others.  You are often the only one with perspective in a conflict.  It is as if you are the keeper of justice, bringing understanding and compromise to situations that are polarized.

Under the influences of this Pinnacle -- especially at its outset -- people are often married or start families.  Children are born, in-laws come into your life.  You are the nucleus of a little world.

You must maintain your dignity.  This is a period that makes it easier to sacrifice, but you can overdo it, becoming a doormat for others to step on simply to maintain a degree of peace.  Know your limits and maintain healthy relationships.

This is a fine period for growth in business and financial matters.  You attract people with resources who can help to further your personal goals.  Moreover, you are balanced in your approach to business affairs.  This can bring many rewards.

Barack, your heightened sense of harmony and your genuine compassion makes you an excellent counselor and healer, especially if you already have native talent in any of these areas.

Personal health matters can also surface, causing you to reflect on diet, exercise, and other health habits.

Your desire to help others is also increased.  But this can lead you to poke yourself into situations where you do not belong, or delve too deeply into other people's personal affairs.  Be careful not to meddle or interfere.

The 6 Pinnacle is a time of progress and growth as a full human being.  You are capable of developing yourself in many different directions -- as a loving mate and parent; a sound businessperson; and as a pillar of your community.  The time requires the balance you possess, since you can easily stretch yourself in too many directions and ultimately feel burned out by the demands in your milieu.

Your Fourth Pinnacle (from age 53) is 7

This is a period of inner development and soul searching.  Barack, you will deal with the deeply important questions of personal existence and the meaning of life.  You will need time to be alone to contemplate your inner world.  This is a time of spiritual growth.  You will experience a heightened sense of faith.  The power of the universe will be the force that carries you along.

You have an enhanced appreciation of poetry and nature.  Walks in nature provide great therapeutic value and spiritual nourishment.

This is a time of specialization.  You will pursue some course of development with fervor and focus.  Your ability to concentrate will be greatly increased.  Barack, your desire to study in all forms -- reading, self reflection, and contemplation -- will reach an all-time high.  Your intuition is much more sensitive, making your path a little easier and more direct, since you know intuitively the appropriate next step.

Under this Pinnacle, you will become an expert in one particular field.  Your capacity to penetrate the depths of a subject area is enormous.  You will look below the surface in virtually everything you encounter.  It is very possible that you will find yourself in a teaching role.

You must consciously work on your closer relationships, especially with your spouse and children.  You must explain that your desire to turn inward is not an escape or an avoidance of those you love, but a deep need for knowledge.

During this 7 Pinnacle, spiritual growth, increased knowledge, and wisdom are the big rewards.  The 7 Pinnacle provides the basis for contentment in older age, because you now begin to understand life more deeply.

Barack, your challenge is to avoid becoming critical or cynical of others.  You can become so withdrawn from society that you look down on others.  You may forget that you, too, are part of the imperfect human race.  Sarcasm is the lowest form of communication, and a trap you could fall victim to.

Your desire to attain some high degree of perfection is sincere.  But that pursuit can make you miserable if you lose perspective and fail to realize the relativity of human existence.  Perfection is a Utopian goal, but an unrealistic ambition.  It can cause you to be dissatisfied with yourself and others.

The 7 provides the possibility of true refinement, insight, and a high degree of wisdom.  This deep understanding is the basis for self-love and true happiness.

Like most stories, there are three great divisions of our lives: the First, or opening period, finds us groping to find our true nature; at the same time, we are trying to cope with the powerful forces that are present in our environment, our parents and the socio-economic conditions of our family, for example.  The Second Cycle, or middle period of our lives, brings about the slow emergence of our individual and creative talents.  The initial part of this cycle -- the early and mid 30s -- represents a struggle to find our place in the world, while the late 30s, 40s, and early 50s, sees us with a greater degree of self-mastery and influence over the environment.  The Third, or final Cycle, can represent a flowering of our inner being, such that our true nature has finally come to fruition.  It is during this period that one has the greatest degree of self-expression and power.

Your First Cycle (from birth until age 25) is 8

You are under an extremely benevolent period for work, career, and financial reward.  The key is hard work and the willingness to again dedicate yourself after setbacks or difficulties.  Barack, you will have greatly enhanced abilities as a manager, organizer, and financial planner.  You have a gift for seeing the broad picture and carrying out bold plans.  You can gain financial freedom during this period.  Business and career activities go well, but require much attention and commitment.  You are being pushed to take control of your career or enterprise and bring it to new heights.  It is a time when power falls to you, but must be used wisely and with purpose.

Your Second Cycle (from age 26 until age 52) is 4

A time of hard work and all the rewards it can bring.  This is a period in which you are concerned chiefly with the practical things of life: work and career, sound family and a solid community.  Barack, you are not given to flights of fancy or idealism, but want to place your life on sound financial footing.  You can be overly concerned with details and thus can find yourself in ruts that will have to be broken free of.  Find work you love and do it to your heart's content, but do not neglect the rest of your humanity, or that of others close to you.  This is a time requiring discipline, order, and self-motivation.  Work is the order of the day.  But through these characteristics, you will be seen as the foundation of your family, job, and even community.

Your Third and last Cycle (from age 53) is 8

(This Cycle is the same as the First, as described above.)

The Essence Number and the Personal Year Number are the two essential indicators of the forces that will influence your life during the course of any year. While the Personal Year runs from January to January, the Essence is most strongly felt from birthday to birthday.  For example, if your essence number is 8 for the year 1988, you would begin to feel the influence of that 8 most powerfully after your 1988 birthday.  The influence would begin to wane during 1989 and would finally end at your birthday of 1989.

The Essence number indicates the lessons you will be dealing with during that year.  It says a great deal about how you will perceive your environment.  It also gives clear advice on how you can be most successful during the year, that is, which types of behavior will be supported by your milieu, and which ones will be less effective.

Your Essence at the age of 56 is 16/7

There are edifices of thoughts and behavior patterns that keep us from experiencing our true natures and the deeper happiness within.  By some great benevolence of the universe, these edifices collapse from time to time.  Barack, you are now in one of those benevolent periods.

This is the proverbial dark night of the soul.  You will find many things not working out as you had planned.  There can be many unexpected, turbulent, and shocking events.  There are debts to be paid that may seem unduly harsh or imbalanced.  The time is confusing and you may feel that you have lost direction entirely.

Your challenge is to surrender to the larger forces that now seem so threatening.  Let the transformative powers redirect you.  This is the surest path out of the confusion that now dominates your life.

The 16 Essence is very like a storm that seems, on the surface, to be knocking down buildings, but is in fact rearranging your life so that you emerge healthier and happier than before.

The 16 Essence usually does not last long.  You will find yourself on much sounder footing and in much better circumstances once it passes.  You are experiencing the night that will surely bring the dawn.  And with it comes a new life.

Part of the lesson you are learning is gratitude.  Take time to truly examine everything that has been given to you.  You are overlooking the love in your life, the talents you have been given, the good things that have been added to your life without your acknowledgment.  There is something of a blind spot in you that has brought about the current period of confusion.  Now is a time to self-reflect and to truly take stock of your life.  Gratitude is one of the keys to a healthy transformation.  Offer thanks to the Universe for all that has been provided you.

This is an act of true magnanimity because you likely feel that you have been treated unjustly by the greater forces.  But such thinking is a delusion that has blinded you to your true nature and destiny.  Open your heart.  Accept that your vision is not of the infinite, but of the relative world.  Accept that the infinite is guiding you lovingly and toward higher planes of consciousness.  Surrender to the greater forces.  This will cause you to open up to the higher planes and allow them to guide.

Now is a time to develop faith.  The power of faith can help you feel secure in the midst of change.  Faith allows you to feel that you are heading in a good direction, even when you do not know what that direction is.  Faith is the key to your happiness now.

Meditate, pray, do regular spiritual practices.  Take care of your health with sound diet and exercise programs.  Try to eliminate all unhealthy attitudes and practices.  Live a more enlightened inner life.  Trust.

Your Essence at the age of 57 is 24/6

This is a time of responsibility, duty, family matters, and high ideals.  Barack, you will be called upon to support others and maintain a high life condition while you do it.  Others look to you as an inspiration and a source of guidance.  There is an element of self-sacrifice present in that you must serve those closest to you.  Unselfishness and a willingness to be of help to others are the keys to your success.

You will likely experience advancement in business, career, and financial matters.  Progress comes more easily during this period, as new opportunities open up to you.  At the same time, your achievements bring added responsibility and new demands.  You will have to devote yourself entirely to the task at hand to realize your goals.

This can be an emotional period, as family members may be demanding.  The whole issue of love comes to the forefront.  Your ability to love and be loved will become starkly clear.  This is an essence during which many marriages and divorces take place.  People discover how much they truly love their partner, or how little love they have in their lives.

Protect your family relationships.  Work to maintain harmony in your home.  Especially stay focused on the needs of children.

There can be a domineering figure in your life who can oppress you during this time.  The key is to be balanced and centered when dealing with all authority figures.  Refuse to act rashly or emotionally.  Remain focused and in harmony with your long-term goals.

If you keep a strong hold on your ideals, you will gain many supporters and admirers.  This brings many great rewards and much appreciation.  New and lasting friends come into your life now, and many seek to advance you along the lines of your abilities.

There is a strong artistic urge present.  Those with artistic talent, or already working in the arts, will find their abilities greatly enhanced, with many new and rewarding chances for advancement.

Most people under the 6 Essence will improve their lives and experience growth in their career goals.

Your Essence at the age of 58 is 24/6

(The Essence for age 58 is the same as that for age 57, as described above.)

Your Personal Year number is a strong indication of the trends and circumstances you will experience during the year ahead.  Your Personal Year cycles are based on the Universal Year cycles and therefore run concurrent with the calendar year.  Transit and Essence cycles are based on the letters of your name and run from birth date to birth date.

There are nine personal year numbers, which makes up a complete Epicycle.  Each Epicycle reveals the progression or evolution of a specific part of your growth.  Barack, your progress along this Epicycle can be seen very logically, from the infancy or beginning of a growth period in your life, to the conclusion or culmination of that process.  The 1 personal year indicates your first steps in a new direction.  The years that follow indicate your progress along this path, concluding with your 9 Personal Year, which completes the cycle.  Below is a description of your current Personal Year.  It indicates where you are on the 9 year Epicycle.

The Personal Years form the building steps that mark your progress through life.

Your Personal Year for 2017 is 4

This is a year to be organized and practical.  Take care of details.  Commit yourself entirely to your goals.

Barack, your concentration and ability to focus will be much improved over last year.  You will have an attitude of realism and determination.

There can be a sense of limitation and some frustration this year.  However, it is a year of important opportunities that must be seized.  There can be considerable work-related travel.

You must be flexible this year to make full use of the opportunities that present themselves.  It will require a combination of perseverance, hard work, and versatility.

You will receive recognition for your efforts and support from your friends and family.

It is a good year to buy real estate or remodel your home.  It is also a good time to take care of projects which have been postponed for to long.

Fulfill your obligations and do not be afraid to spend some of that hard earned money.  Selling and trading during this year usually is quite successful.

This is the year to work on your foundation and prepare yourself for the many changes that will undoubtedly come next year.

As a result of your hard work, there will be much satisfaction and a feeling of accomplishment.

January and February will bring some important change, a new opportunity perhaps.  March requires self-reflection and reshaping of your plans.  It is a good time to meditate on what lies ahead.  June brings a new and important step -- a breakthrough, perhaps -- in your work.  October brings changes and a sense of chaos.  Barack, you may feel threatened by the changes that are on the horizon.  But November brings assistance in the form of a promotion or additional financial support.
